Where Do I Send the Ashes?

COCORO is located in Southern California.

After placing your order, you will receive an email with our designated mailing address and detailed shipping instructions.

Please wait until you receive these instructions before sending your loved one's ashes.

How Much Ash Is Needed?

Only a small amount of cremation ashes, approximately one teaspoon, is needed to create your keepsake.

We recommend sending only the amount requested rather than the entire supply of ashes.

Any unused ashes will be carefully returned to you along with your finished jewelry.

Sending Ashes to COCORO

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping their loved one's ashes to COCORO.

USPS Shipping Requirements

Cremated remains must be shipped using USPS Priority Mail Express and the required USPS Cremated Remains packaging.

To prepare your shipment:

  1. Place approximately one teaspoon of cremation ashes in a small, securely sealed, sift-proof container.

  2. Protect the container to prevent leakage or damage during transit.

  3. Use the required USPS Cremated Remains packaging and an appropriate shipping label.

  4. Include your name and COCORO order number inside the package.

  5. Keep your USPS tracking number until your package has been delivered.

Your order confirmation email will include our designated mailing address and additional shipping instructions.

For your peace of mind, please send only the requested amount of ashes, never the original urn or your entire supply.

For customers in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, we may be able to arrange a personal pickup of your loved one's ashes.

This service is available by prior arrangement and depends on location and availability.

Creating Your Keepsake

Once your loved one's ashes arrive safely at COCORO, we begin the process of creating your personalized memorial jewelry.

Each piece is individually handcrafted with care and intention.

Our typical creation time is approximately one week after receiving the ashes.

Please note that this timeframe does not include the time required for your ashes to reach us or for your completed keepsake to be delivered.

Complimentary Shipping of Your Finished Keepsake

COCORO provides complimentary shipping of your completed keepsake within the United States.

Your finished jewelry will be carefully packaged and shipped to your designated delivery address using the appropriate shipping service and packaging.

Any unused ashes will also be returned to you at no additional charge.

Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.
